Thank you to all of you who emailed me with your congratulations. The love I have received from you has made the last month one I will never forget. I have read all of the emails sent on the days soon after the Honda Classic and enjoyed making a list of everyone’s name. I will have that long list (about 500 names) forever.
I will post new questions and answers on a monthly basis.
From Brian Zempel of Wheaton, IL: How do you keep a good round going without tightening up in some manner?
From Will Boyd of Champaign, IL: I play collegiate golf and I'm wondering if you have any advice on how to practice? I'm also thinking about playing overseas or on mini-tours when I graduate, do you have any tips for me on that?
From Mark Louderback of Springdale: I just can't help but wondering what you think about when you are putting in Sudden Death. Do you admit to "I need to make this" or do you try to think "This is just another putt"? What is your mental state? And what about watching someone else putt? I know that it is poor sportsman ship to want someone to miss their putt--but can you help thinking "If he misses this, I'm still alive." Were you thinking about the next hole already--or just not thinking anything?
Brian Dickert who lives in Charlottesville, VA: I'm 5'6 and 135 (and I'm fully grown). Any tips for playing long courses?
