PGA Tour Wives

PGA TOUR Wives Association, Inc. is a Florida not-for-profit corporation organized to render support and provide assistance to needy children and their families through the means of charitable events.

The Association was incorporated in 1988 by wives of professional golfers on the PGA TOUR. PGA TOUR tournaments are major fundraisers for charities, and the wives recognized that they were in a unique position to be an effective source of funds and support for these charities and the children they benefit. Since inception, the Association has expanded its membership to include Nationwide Tour wives, significant others of PGA TOUR and Nationwide Tour members, and individuals and companies who support the Associations' charitable endeavors.

The PGA TOUR Wives Association has given back to our golfing communities through personal time and monetary contributions to child related charities. In addition to fundraising, members participate in Volunteer Service Projects, performing a myriad of services ranging from Habitat builds to cooking in soup kitchens to playing with hospitalized children in communities where tournaments are held.

MAAC Fund

The MACC Fund, Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer, Inc., is a charitable organization formed in 1976 to support research into the effective treatment and cure of childhood cancer and blood disorders. Cancer is the leading disease-related cause of death in children after the newborn period.

Professional athletes, community-minded business people, corporations, fraternal organizations, local celebrities and individual volunteers are the lifeblood of the MACC Fund and work with our staff to organize various special events and promotions throughout the calendar year. Each fundraiser is based on the concept of 'a good time for a good cause.'

Support comes from many different areas including athletic and social events, special purchase and cause-related marketing programs, and planned giving. However, there is one common goal - to provide "Hope Through Research to Children with Cancer."

Blessings in a Backpack

Blessings in a Backpack is a results-oriented program. This unique program is designed to feed elementary school children whose families qualify for the federal free and reduced meal program, and may not have any or enough food on the weekends. Better test scores, improved reading skills, positive behavior, improved health and increased attendance have all been attributed to the success of this program.

$80 feeds a child in the program for an entire school year. Following a donation, a school is chosen and a local grocer partners with the program to provide food for meals in the backpacks. Every Friday, students receive their backpacks with staples that require little to no preparation. They return with their backpacks on Monday ready to learn.

Blessings in a Backpack (BIB) is a 501 C (3) non-profit organization currently feeding over 18,500 children in 16 states. The program is a hybrid of private sector funding and public partnership carried out in public schools. We are feeding the future of America, one school at a time.

Amy and Mark Wilson Delta Gamma Lectureship in Values and Ethics

Starting in 2009, we partnered with Delta Gamma Fraternity (Amy’s sorority) and Indiana University (Amy's alma mater) to bring a lectureship series to the students, faculty and community of Bloomington, Indiana. The goal of the lectureship series is to bring visionaries in their respective field to share lessons learned, journeys, and inspiration with the college campus.

Whenever Amy reminisces on her college experience, the first thing that comes to mind is the learning opportunities that were available to her. We wanted to make sure that incredible learning opportunities were always available for those linked to Indiana University. Please consider helping us raise funds to ensure the long term stability of the lectureship series.

Gifts are tax deductible and can be made to:
